Over the past 24 hours, the non-fungible token (NFT) market has experienced significant growth. According to CryptoSlam, total NFT sales volume has surged by 12.5% to reach $34,820,790. Transactions, buyers, and sellers have all increased by 3%-8%.
Leading the sales volume today is LockDealNFT, with an impressive $2.7 million. Notably, LockDealNFT has seen an astounding 3,223% increase, making it the top performer of the day. In comparison, the second-best performer, Froganas, has seen a 59% increase.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s sales volume has dropped by 12% to $7.4 million, while Solana has seen a 2% increase to $8.7 million, widening the gap between the two blockchains. Ethereum remains unchallenged at the top with $9.5 million in sales volume.

However, Bitcoin’s NFT market has encountered a significant setback. Monthly NFT sales on the Bitcoin network have plummeted by over 60%, with sales volume dropping by 61.6% to $330,737,889. Transactions have also decreased by 49%, totaling 245,510 over the past month.
The decline in sales volume is evident when compared to December’s figures, which reached $868,974,031. Additionally, December saw double the number of transactions compared to January, with 484,556 transactions recorded.
In other NFT news, the highly anticipated Taproot Wizards’ Bitcoin Ordinals NFT sale has been postponed due to technical issues. The sale, featuring quantum cats, was originally scheduled for Monday but has been rescheduled to February 1 to address the issues with the minting website.
On a brighter note, Pudgy Penguins has announced the opening of licensing for its second chapter, Pudgy Toys. Owners of Pudgy Penguins and Lil Pudgy NFTs have the opportunity to transform their digital penguins into physical toys through the platform’s IP licensing platform, OverpassIP. Successful participants will have the chance to grant licenses to renowned brands for product or media incorporation.
Furthermore, OverpassIP has introduced Pudgy Rods as multipliers for licensing deals, providing additional utility for NFT holders.
